The Warriors will have a very different look next season, as they will be without Kevin Durant who signed with the Brooklyn Nets and Andre Iguodala who was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies Golden State will still have a talented roster, as they will return Stephen Curry Klay Thompson Draymond Green and Steve Kerr
The Warriors’ Pre-Season
The Golden State Warriors are the defending NBA champions having won the title in 2015. The Warriors are currently in the midst of their pre-season, which began on October 4th and will end on October 23rd. The Warriors will play a total of eight pre-season games, with four of those games taking place at home in Oakland, California.
The Warriors’ first pre-season game was against the Los Angeles Clippers, a team that is considered to be one of the Warriors’ main rivals in the Western Conference The Warriors won this game by a score of 112-108. The Clippers were without their two best players, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin which likely contributed to the Warriors’ victory. However, it was still an impressive win for the Warriors, who showed that they are still the team to beat in the NBA.
The next game on the Warriors’ pre-season schedule is against the Sacramento Kings on October 7th. The Kings are another team from the Western Conference that is considered to be one of the Warriors’ main rivals. The Kings are a young and talented team, but they are not expected to be a serious threat to the Warriors this season.
The Warriors will then travel to China to play two pre-season games against Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans on October 10th and 12th. These will be very tough games for the Warriors, as Davis is one of the best players in the NBA and he will have homecourt advantage in China. However, if any team is up to the challenge, it is certainly the Golden State Warriors
The Warriors’ Regular Season
The Warriors had one of the most successful seasons in NBA history winning a total of 73 games. They began the season by winning 24 out of their first 27 games, which set an NBA record for the best start to a season. The Warriors then went on to win an additional 19 games in a row, which broke the previous record for the longest Winning Streak in an NBA season The Warriors ended the regular season with a record of 67-15, earning them the number one seed in the Western Conference
The Warriors’ Post-Season
The Warriors are the defending NBA champions and they’re looking to repeat this year. They’ve been dominant in the regular season but the post-season is a different animal. They’ll have to battle through a tough playoffs to make it back to the Finals.
The Warriors have a lot of weapons, but they’ll be tested in the playoffs. Their defense will be put to the test by the likes of Lebron James and Kawhi Leonard They’ll need to be at their best to win another championship.
The Warriors’ Off-Season Again
After winning their third NBA championship in four years, the Golden State Warriors have been relatively quiet this off-season. Their biggest move was resigning All-Star forward Kevin Durant to a two-year, $61.5 million contract They also agreed to contracts with several role players, including Center Demarcus Cousins who they signed to a one-year deal worth $5.3 million.
The Warriors’ Repeat?
Will the Warriors be able to repeat as NBA Champions? It will be a difficult task, as they will have to go through some tough competition. The Houston Rockets and the Toronto Raptors are two teams that improved their rosters this offseason and will be looking to dethrone the Warriors. The Golden State Warriors have won 3 championships in the last 4 years, but they will need to continue to play at a high level if they want to win another one.
The Warriors’ Three-Peat?
Could the Warriors be in store for a three-peat? After winning back-to-back NBA championships the Warriors are poised to make a run at a third straight title. Led by superstar Steph Curry the Warriors have established themselves as one of the best teams in the NBA.
With a core of Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green the Warriors have all the pieces necessary to make a run at another championship. Curry is one of the best shooters in NBA history while Thompson is one of the best two-way players in the league. Green is a versatile forward who can provide scoring, rebounding, and defense.
The Warriors will have their work cut out for them if they want to win another championship. The Western Conference is loaded with talent, and there are several teams that could give the Warriors a run for their money. The Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder are two teams that could pose serious threats to the Warriors’ title hopes.
However, with a talented roster and a proven winner in Head Coach Steve Kerr the Warriors are in a good position to win another championship. Only time will tell if they can get it done.
The Warriors’ Dynasty?
With their recent win at the 2019 NBA Finals the Golden State Warriors have now won 3 championships in the last 4 years. Some people are calling this Warriors team a dynasty, but is that really the case?
There are a few key criteria that need to be met in order for a team to be considered a dynasty. Firstly, the team needs to have won multiple championships in a relatively short period of time. Secondly, the team needs to be dominant during that time period, winning a high percentage of their games. And finally, the team needs to be composed of some of the greatest players in the game.
Looking at those criteria, it’s easy to see why people might think that the Warriors are a dynasty. They’ve certainly won multiple championships in a short period of time, and they’ve been dominant during that span, winning over 70% of their games. Plus, they have some of the greatest players in the Game Today including Steph Curry and Kevin Durant
So are the Warriors a dynasty? It’s hard to say for sure. But one thing is certain: they’re an incredibly successful basketball team and they show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
The Warriors’ Legacy?
Throughout their five year dynasty, the Golden State Warriors have won three NBA Championships and established themselves as one of the greatest teams in Basketball History But with their recent loss in the 2020 NBA Finals many are wondering if the Warriors’ legacy is over.
The Warriors have always been a polarizing team. Some love them for their high-scoring, aesthetically pleasing brand of basketball; others hate them for their “superteam” status and what that says about the competitive balance of the league. But there’s no denying that the Warriors have been one of the most dominant teams of this era, and their run of success is surely unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
The question now is: what will be the Warriors’ legacy? Will they be remembered as one of the all-time great teams, or will their final few years tarnish their legacy? Only time will tell.
