Introduction

The 2019 Drillers Baseball Schedule is here! The Tulsa Drillers are a Minor League Baseball team that plays in the Texas League. The team is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and they are the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers The Drillers play their home games at ONEOK Field, which is located in downtown Tulsa.

The Drillers have been a part of the Texas League since it was founded in 1888, and they have won 10 league championships. The team has also produced a number of Major League Baseball players, including Clayton Kershaw Mike Piazza and Adrian Gonzalez.

The 2019 season will be the Drillers’ 31st season in Tulsa, and their first as the Dodgers’ Double-A affiliate. The team will look to build on their success from last season, when they finished with a record of 80-59 and qualified for the playoffs.

The Regular Season

March/April
The Drillers begin their season with a handful of home games in late March and early April, including their home opener on March 28 against the Frisco RoughRiders. Promotions for these games include $2 Tuesdays, $1 hot dogs and $5 upper reserved tickets for select games.

May
In May, the Drillers host a number of special events, including Mother’s Day (May 12), Memorial Day (May 27), and Star Wars Night (May 4). On Mother’s Day, all mothers in attendance will receive a carnation, and there will be post-game catch on the field for kids 14 and under. Memorial Day will feature a special tribute to veterans, and Star Wars Night will include characters from the movies mingling with fans in addition to special themed jerseys worn by the team.

The Postseason

The Postseason is upon us and the Drillers will be looking to make a run at the title. Here is a guide to the team’s postseason schedule.

The Drillers will begin their postseason journey on the road, as they take on the San Antonio Missions in the first round of the playoffs. The best-of-three series will begin on September 5th, with game two set for September 6th. If necessary, game three will be played on September 7th. All games in the series will begin at 7:05 PM CT.

If the Drillers are able to advance past the Missions, they will take on either the Midland RockHounds or the Frisco RoughRiders in the next round. The schedule for that series has not yet been announced.

The Drillers Ballpark is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is the home of the Tulsa Drillers baseball team The ballpark opened in 1981 and has a capacity of 11,000 people. The ballpark is also home to the Tulsa 66ers basketball team

The Drillers Broadcast

The Drillers will have 70 home games broadcast on radio this season. all broadcasts will start at 6:40 p.m. with 30-minute pre-game and post-game shows. you can listen to the games on Jumbo Sports Network 1050 AM/102.9 FM.

The Drillers History

The Tulsa Drillers are a minor league baseball team based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They are the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies and play in the Texas League. The Drillers franchise was founded in 1970 as an expansion team in the Texas League.

The Drillers Roster

The Tulsa Drillers Baseball Team has released their roster for the 2019 season. The Drillers will have 28 players on their roster, including 16 pitchers, three catchers, six infielders, and three outfielders.

The Drillers Schedule

The Tulsa Drillers baseball team is a minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers The Drillers play their home games at ONEOK Field in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Drillers schedule is comprised of 140 game dates, with 70 Home Games and 70 away games. The home games are primarily played on weekends, with a few Day Games mixed in. The away games are generally played during the week.

The regular season runs from early April through early September. The Drillers typically have one or two off days per month during the season.

During the month of April, the Drillers play a majority of their games at home. In May and June, the team plays a mix of home and away games. In July, the Drillers embark on their longest road trip of the season, playing 16 away games in 19 days. The team August is spent primarily at home, with only six away games on the schedule.

September is generally considered to be playoff time in Minor League Baseball The top teams in each division go head-to-head in a best-of-five series to determine who will advance to the championship round.
