This was a rematch of the classic 2006 NCAA tournament game in which UCLA upset then-#1 seed Duke. In this regular season game, Duke got revenge, defeating UCLA 88-66.

7) Duke vs. Florida State – January 12, 2011

In one of the most thrilling games in recent memory, Duke defeated Florida State 90-87 in overtime. The game featured 33 lead changes and 15 ties, and was back and forth the entire way. Nolan Smith hit the game-winning jumper with 0.8 seconds left in overtime to give Duke the win.

While Duke has had many great teams and players throughout its history, some seasons and teams stand out above the rest. The 1992-1993 team is widely considered to be one of the best College Basketball teams of all time. Led by Laettner, Hill, and Williams, Duke went 32-2 en route to winning the National Championship That team is also remembered for one of the most iconic moments in college basketball history – Laettner’s game-winning shot against Kentucky in the Elite Eight.

The 2018-2019 Duke team is also considered to be one of the best ever. Led by Williamson, Duke went 32-6 on the season and won the ACC tournament Williamson was considered to be a once-in-a-generation player, and lived up to the hype by averaging 22 points and 8 rebounds per game He was joined by fellow freshmen R.J. Barrett and Cam Reddish to form one of the most talented trios in college basketball history. Unfortunately, Duke’s season came to an end with a loss to Michigan State in the Elite Eight.
