The Elgin Community College baseball team is coached by John Vittone. Coach Vittone has been with the team for two years and has a wealth of experience in coaching baseball
Before coming to ECC, Coach Vittone coached at the High School and collegiate levels. He has also worked as a professional scout for the Baltimore Orioles coach Vittone has a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s degree in sports administration from Concordia University Chicago
Coach Vittone is committed to helping his players develop their skills and grow as athletes. He is dedicated to providing a positive learning environment for his team and works hard to instill a love of the game in his players.
Elgin Community College
Elgin Community College is a Community College in Elgin, Illinois. The school mascot is the Spartan, and the school colors are green and white. ECC offers associate degrees and certificate programs. The college has an open admissions policy, meaning that any person who has a high school diploma or GED can be admitted regardless of their academic record.
ECC Baseball Coach Brianemiselo (“Bri”) Hernandez took over the Spartans’ program in 2015. He led the team to a 43-15 record and an NJCAA Division III National Championship in his first season.

Elgin Community College’s Baseball Team is coached by Ryan Prosinski. Prior to coaching at ECC, Prosinski was an assistant baseball coach at Iowa Wesleyan University In his first season at ECC, Prosinski led the team to a 31-17 record and a second-place finish in the conference.

Elgin Community College’s new Baseball Coach is looking forward to the upcoming season
Coach Mattennis, who played for ECC from 2006-2008, takes over the team from former coach Darryl Denson.
“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to be the head baseball coach here at Elgin Community College ” said Mattennis. “ECC has a great tradition of success on the baseball field and I am humbled to be given the chance to continue that tradition.”
Elgin
Elgin Community College is a Community College in Elgin, Illinois. It is part of the Illinois Community College system. ECC offers both two-year and four-year degrees. The school’s sports teams are known as the Spartans. The men’s baseball team has won five NJCAA Division III baseball World Series championships, most recently in 2019.
Community
The community is an important part of Elgin Community college baseball We work with the local youth in providing training and development both on and off the field. Our goal is to provide an outlet for the youth in our community to come together and learn about baseball while also developing important life skills.
College
Located in Elgin, Illinois, Elgin Community College is a two-year institution that offers a variety of programs and courses for students to choose from. The college also has a baseball team that competes in the National junior college Athletic Association (NJCAA), and the team is coached by Ryan Woolley.
Education
ECC baseball coach Danik Kerr has been coaching the team for three years and has a record of success both on and off the field. His players have gone on to compete at the collegiate level and he has helped instill a love of the game in them. Coach Kerr’s educational background is in Sports science and he has a passion for helping young athletes reach their potential. He is currently pursuing his Masters degree in sports psychology to further his knowledge in this area.

Elgin Community College is seeking a part-time Head Coach for their Baseball Team This position will be responsible for all aspects of the program, including but not limited to practices, game days, player development scheduling, and recruiting. The ideal candidate will have previous coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level, strong organizational skills, and a passion for the Game of Baseball

Elgin Community College’s Baseball team is led by coach Matt Szeszol. His training methods have evolved over his years of coaching and playing experience. He has developed a system that helps his players to improve their skills and succeed on the field.
