The season will begin on February 2nd with a three-game series against Benedictine University at their off-campus facility in Springfield, Illinois.

The team’s manager is Tony Dattoli. Dattoli has been with the team for four seasons and has led the team to two conference championships

The Assistant Coach is Scott Simpson. Simpson has been with the team for three seasons and has helped the team to a conference championship and two regional appearances.

As the season opener approaches, fans are anxious to see how their team will fare. The schedule has been announced, and it looks like the team has a tough road ahead. But with a little bit of luck, and a lot of hard work the team hopes to bring home a win.

The Season

The 2020 Fontbonne Griffins baseball team will begin their season on the road against the Blackburn Beavers. The first game will take place on February 21st at 1 PM. Following their game against Blackburn, they will take on the Spalding Golden Eagles in a three-game series. The first game of that series will take place on February 28th at 1 PM.

The first game of the season is on February 15th at 3:00pm against Lincoln College at home. The team will play a total of 34 games this season. Of those, 17 will be played at home and 17 will be away games.

The Playoffs

The playoffs are nearly upon us, and the Fontbonne Baseball Team has announced its schedule for the upcoming season The team will play four games in total, with the first two taking place on Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th. The first game will be against the winner of the play-in game between the eighth and ninth seeds, while the second game will be against the top seed in the league.

This year, the team will be focusing on improving its batting average and base-running speed. The coaching staff has been working closely with the players to sharpen their skills in these areas. In addition, the team has added several new players who are expected to contribute significantly to its success.
