Standings
Franklin & Marshall College is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The school colors are navy blue and white, and the mascot is the Diplomat. Field Hockey team competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III as part of the Centennial Conference (CC).
As of the 2019 season, the Diplomats have compiled an all-time record of 405–242–19 (.620), good for an average of .564 per season. Franklin & Marshall has reached the NCAA Division III tournament 11 times in program history, most recently in 2010. The team has also won four conference championships most recently in 2009.
In 2019, the Diplomats finished with a record of 10–9 overall and 4–5 in conference play The team was scheduled to play Messiah College on November 9 in the first round of the CC tournament, but the game was cancelled due to weather conditions.

The Diplomats have yet to allow a goal this season, shutting out eight of their opponents. Eleven different players have contributed to the scoring so far this year, with junior midfielder Katarina Unger leading the team with five goals.

The 2017 field hockey season is underway, and the Franklin and Marshall Diplomats are looking to build on their successful 2016 campaign. head coach Jenn Vehicles Bowman enters her eighth season at the helm of the program, which has seen a tremendous amount of success over the past few years.
The Diplomats are coming off a 2016 season in which they went 15-5 overall and 7-1 in the Centennial Conference. They advanced to the conference tournament semifinals before falling to eventual champion Dickinson. Franklin and Marshall also received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they fell in the first round to Montclair State
This season, the Diplomats have been tabbed as the favorite to win the Centennial conference title They have returning all-conference players in junior midfielder Emily McCoy and senior defender Anna Meyerson. Franklin and Marshall will open their season on September 1 with a Home game against Goucher.
Franklin & Marshall Field Hockey
Franklin & Marshall’s field Hockey Team represents Franklin & Marshall College in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I competition. The Diplomats compete as members of the Centennial Conference. Franklin & Marshall has fielded a Field Hockey team since 1974 and have won seven conference championships. The team plays its home games at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, Pennsylvania.
Field Hockey
The Franklin & Marshall field Hockey team will open the 2019 season with a home game against Ursinus on Sunday, September 1st at 1:00 pm. Aside from Ursinus, the Diplomats will also host Muhlenberg (9/14), Catholic (9/21), Lebanon Valley (9/28), Swarthmore (10/12), Gettysburg (10/19) and Dickinson (10/26) at Tylus Field this season.
F&M will begin Centennial Conference (CC) action on the road against Bryn Mawr on Saturday, September 7th re Playing four of its next five conference contests at home. The Diplomats will conclude the regular season with three straight road games, beginning with a trip to Haverford on Saturday, November 2nd.
The 2019 CC Tournament is scheduled to begin with Opening Round games on Wednesday, November 6th. The top-four seeds will host quarterfinal games on Saturday, November 9th before the semifinals and finals are held at Swarthmore College on Friday-Saturday, November 15-16.

The 2019 Franklin & Marshall Field hockey schedule has been announced and the Diplomats will open the season at home against Kean on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 1:00 p.m.
F&M will play seven home games at Shadek Stadium this year, hosting Ursinus (Sept. 21), Gettysburg (Sept., 28), Muhlenberg (Oct. 12), Washington College (Oct. 19), McDaniel (Oct. 26) and Dickinson (Nov. 2) in Centennial Conference (CC) contests.
The Diplomats closed out last season with an 11-6 overall record and advanced to the CC Semifinals for the first time since 2016 after earning the fourth seed in the tournament with a 5-3 ledger in league play. F&M’s 11 victories were the most since 2015 and marked just the second time in program history that the team reached double digits in wins.
