-Carson Herndon: A freshman from Atlanta, Herndon is a 6’2″ right-handed pitcher.

The Seminoles have made twenty College World Series appearances, winning the championship in 1970 and 1999. They have also appeared in sixteen NCAA Regional Championships as well as twenty-six ACC baseball tournaments Florida State has had ninety-eight All-Americans drafted into Major League Baseball including fifteen first-Round Selections Seventeen former Seminoles have gone on to play in the Major Leagues

As of September 2020, twenty-seven former Seminoles have appeared in Major League Baseball (MLB). FSUs most recent MLB players are Luke Weaver, D. J. Stewart, Jackson Lueck, and Drew Mendoza.

During the 2021 season, the Seminoles will have a total of 12 outfielders on the roster. This includes seven returners from the 2020 season and five newcomers. The returning players are seniors J.C. Flowers and Robby Martin, juniors Tim Becker and Mat Nelson, sophomores Rashad Brown and Elijah Cabell, and redshirt freshman Keith Weisenberg. The five newcomers are freshmen Jordan McRae, Jake Wilcoxson, Reese Albert, Jack Condon, and Bryce Hubbart.

The most notable change is that Cal Raleigh will not be on the roster as he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 2018. Raleigh was a key player for the Seminoles and his absence will be felt by the team. another loss is that of Gage Bertles, who graduated.

There are two new catchers on the roster, Drew Mendoza and Matheu Nelson Mendoza is a transfer from Washington State and Nelson comes from Chipola College.
