Game 1: October 3rd vs. Arizona State University
The Gophers start their season at home against Arizona State University on October 3rd. This will be the first game of a home-and-home series against the Sun Devils The two teams will also meet on October 10th in Tempe, Arizona. The Gophers are coming off of a very successful season in which they won the National Championship They will be looking to defend their title this season and start off their quest with a win against Arizona State
Game 2: October 4th vs. Arizona State University
The Gophers will look to build on their opening night victory against Arizona State University when the two schools meet again on October 4th. This will be the first of three meetings between the teams this season.
Minnesota is coming off a 6-3 win against ASU in which they outshot their opponents 37-26. The Gophers were led by junior forward Tyler Sheehy, who had a goal and two assists in the game. Sheehy has now tallied a point in each of Minnesota’s first two games this season.
Sophomore goaltender Mat Robson was also solid in net for the Gophers, making 23 saves on 26 shots. Robson will likely get the start again in game two against ASU.
Game 3: October 10th vs. University of Alaska Anchorage
The University of Alaska Anchorage, commonly referred to as UAA, is a public research university located in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1954, it is one of three major universities in the state and the largest institution of higher learning in Southcentral Alaska.
The Seawolves compete in NCAA Division I as members of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association They have won two conference championships and made four appearances in the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Championship tournament.
Game 4: October 11th vs. University of Alaska Anchorage
The Gophers will look to extend their Winning Streak to four games when they take on the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves on October 11th. This will be the fourth game of the season for both teams, and it promises to be an exciting match-up.
The Gophers have had a strong start to the season, winning their first three games by a combined score of 16-3. They will be looking to continue their winning ways against a tough Seawolves team that is coming off a loss to the University of Alaska Fairbanks
This will be the first meeting between these two teams since last season, when the Gophers won 3-2 in overtime. It is sure to be a thrilling game, so be sure to catch it if you can!
Game 5: October 17th vs. Bemidji State University
In their final Home game of the season, the Gophers will take on the Bemidji State University Beavers. The Beavers are currently 6-10-2 in conference play and 12-16-3 overall. This will be the first meeting between these two teams this season.
The Gophers are coming off of a tough loss to the University of North Dakota in their last game. The Beavers are also coming off of a loss, losing to Minnesota State in their last game.
The Gophers will need to put forth a strong effort if they want to come out with a win in this one. They will look to take advantage of the fact that the Beavers have not been playing well as of late. The Gophers will also look to get some revenge, as Bemidji State swept them last season.
If the Gophers can come out and play their game, they should be able to come away with a victory in this one. However, if they let the Beavers hang around, they could be in for a long night.
Game 6: October 18th vs. Bemidji State University
This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other this season. The Beavers come into this game with a 3-2 record, while the Gophers are 5-0. This game is set to be a battle, with both teams looking for a win.
Game 7: October 24th vs. University of Nebraska Omaha
This will be the first meeting of the season between these two teams. The Gophers are coming off of a win against Minnesota State University Mankato. The Mavericks were able to keep the game close, but the Gophers pulled away in the end with a final score of 4-1.
The Gophers will look to carry that momentum into their game against UNO. The Mavericks are coming off of a loss to Colorado College UNO was able to tie the game up in the third period, but Colorado College scored late in the game to seal the victory.
This will be a tough test for the Gophers. UNO is a well-coached team that plays hard every night. The Gophers will need to be ready to play their best hockey if they want to come out with a win.
Game 8: October 25th vs. University of Nebraska Omaha
The Minnesota Golden Gophers will take on the University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks in their eighth game of the season on October 25th. The Gophers are currently 6-1-0, while the Mavericks are 3-2-2.
This will be the first meeting between these two teams since last season, when the Gophers won 5-2. The Gophers will be looking to continue their winning ways against the Mavericks, who they have beaten in all seven previous meetings.
The Gophers are currently averaging 4.14 goals per game while the Mavericks are averaging 2.67 goals per game. The Gophers have also been stingy on defense, allowing just 2 goals per game, while the Mavericks have allowed 3 goals per game.

Game 9: November 1st vs. Miami University
The Gophers will take on Miami University in their ninth game of the season on November 1st. This will be the first meeting between the two teams since January of 2017, when the Gophers won 4-2. The Gophers are currently 6-2-0 on the season, while Miami is 5-3-0.
This will be a tough test for the Gophers, as Miami is a very good team. The Gophers will need to be at their best if they want to win this game.
Game 10: November 2nd vs. Miami University
The Gophers will play their final home game of the season against Miami University on November 2nd. The game will be played at 7:00 PM at 3M Arena at Mariucci. The Gophers are currently 9-0-0 and ranked first in the nation. Miami is 5-5-0 and ranked 20th. This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season.
The Gophers are coming off of a 5-2 win against St. Cloud State University In that game, junior forward Tyler Sheehy scored two goals and had one assist. Freshman defenseman Brock Boeser also had a goal and an assist. Goaltender Eric Schierhorn made 29 saves in the win.
Miami is coming off of a 3-2 overtime loss to Western Michigan University. In that game, senior forward Anthony Louis scored two goals for the RedHawks. Goaltender Jay Williams made 36 saves in the loss.
This is a big game for both teams as the Gophers look to finish the season undefeated at home and Miami looks to get back to .500 on the season.
