Harvard Hockey is back for another season, and there are plenty of opportunities to catch the Crimson on the ice. Here is a schedule of upcoming games, along with information on where to find them.

The Harvard Hockey Schedule is out, and fans can start planning where to catch the games. The team will open its season at home on November 1st against Dartmouth, and will also play host to Boston College Cornell, Princeton, and Quinnipiac. On the road, the Crimson will take on Boston University Colgate, Columbia, Penn, and Yale.

Harvard will look to defend its Championship Title from last year, when it defeated Northeastern in the Beanpot final and went on to win the Ivy League tournament. The team also made it to the NCAA tournament where it lost to Minnesota in the regional final.

Harvard Players

The Harvard Crimson ice Hockey Team is a NCAA Division I college Ice Hockey program that represents Harvard University The Crimson are a member of the Ecac Hockey conference and play their home games at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The program is one of the oldest in college hockey having played their first game in 1898. They are also one of the most successful, having won seven NCAA Championships tying them for fourth all-time with Wisconsin. They have also won eighteen conference championships the most recent coming in 2016. The Crimson have had many successful players over the years, including Hobey Baker Award winners Bill Cleary and Joe Caffery, Olympians Henry Taylor and Bill McCreary Jr., Stanley Cup champion Siegfried “Si” Greenstin, and Hobey Baker finalists Kyle Criscuolo and Jimmy Vesey.

NHL Players

Several Harvard hockey alumni have gone on to successful careers in the National Hockey League including forwards Jimmy Vesey ’16 (New York Rangers), Alexander Kerfoot ’17 (Colorado Avalanche), and Ryan Donato ’18 (Boston Bruins), and defenseman Adam Clendening ’12 (Arizona Coyotes).

NHL Teams

The NHL regular season runs from October to April, with each team playing 82 games. The Stanley Cup playoffs start in April and the Championship Series the Stanley Cup Finals, is held in June.
