Hillsdale Baseball Team Releases Schedule

The Hillsdale high school baseball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season Check out when they’ll be playing their first game and plan to come out and support the team!

Introduction

The Hillsdale college baseball team released its 2014 schedule today, highlighted by 28 home games and trips to Arizona and Florida during spring break. The Chargers will face off against some stiff competition this season, including NCAA Division I schools Detroit Mercy Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo. The team is coming off a 2013 campaign in which it went 18-27 overall and 13-19 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference

The Team

The Hillsdale College baseball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming season The Chargers will play their first game on February 15th against Northwood University. The team will then travel to Kentucky to take on Georgetown College before returning home to face Aquinas College on February 22nd.

The Season

The Hillsdale baseball team has just released their schedule for the upcoming season The team will start off their pre-season games on February 27th, against Liberty University The first game of the season will be on March 5th, against James Madison University.

The team has a total of 29 games scheduled for the season. Out of those 29 games, 16 will be played at home and 13 will be away games.

The team’s conference play will start on April 2nd, against conference rival University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill The last game of the regular season is scheduled for May 22nd, also against Chapel Hill

The post-season will begin with the ACC tournament which is set to take place from May 25th-28th in Durham, North Carolina If the team does well in the ACC Tournament they could potentially make it to the NCAA tournament The NCAA Tournament is scheduled to start on June 3rd and end on June 27th with the College World Series taking place in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Playoffs

The Hillsdale baseball team has released their schedule for the playoffs. The team will be playing four games, two at home and two away. The first game will be against rival school Valley View on Tuesday, May 10th at 4:00 p.m. The second game will be against conference opponent Franklin on Thursday, May 12th at 4:00 p.m.

The team’s third game will be on Saturday, May 14th against another conference foe, Monroe. This game will be away and is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. The fourth and final game of the playoffs will be on Monday, May 16th at 4:00 p.m., also against Monroe.

The Hillsdale Baseball Team has high hopes for the playoffs this year and is looking to redeem themselves after last year’s early exit. Fans are encourage to come out and support the team as they strive to make a deep run in the postseason.
