The following is a list of HPU Baseball’s upcoming games:
April 5th – vs. Liberty

Key games on the schedule
As the High Point University baseball team prepares for its 2019 season, there are a few key games on the schedule that stand out.
On March 3, the team will face off against the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill This will be a good test for the Panthers, as UNC is a strong team and has made it to the College World Series in recent years
On March 10-11, HPU will take on conference rival Liberty University These are always tough games, and HPU will be looking to build on its success from last season against the Flames.
The Panthers will also have a three-game series at home against Gardner-Webb University on April 7-9. Gardner-Webb is another conference foe, and HPU will be hoping to sweep the Bulldogs this year.
Other key games include a home contest against UNC Greensboro on April 16 and a road game at Duke University on May 14.
The High Point University baseball team has a lot to look forward to this season, and these are just some of the key games that are highlights on the schedule.
How the team is preparing for the season
The High Point University Baseball Team is entering its third week of practice and is set to open the season on Feb. 14 with a three-game series at Charlotte. The Panthers will play a total of 55 games this year, including 27 at home at Williard Stadium.
What the team’s goals are for the season
The team’s ultimate goal is to make it to the College World Series but they have many goals for the season. The team would like to win their conference, which they have done for the past four years. They would also like to make it to an NCAA regional and Super Regional
The team’s new recruits
The team’s new recruits will be put to the test immediately, as the upcoming schedule is packed with tough opponents. The first series is against conference rival Long Beach State The team will then take on UC Irvine, another conference foe. They’ll finish the month with a series against Stanford, a perennial powerhouse.
The team’s returning players
The team’s returning players are excited to get back on the field and defend their Championship Title They have been working hard in the off-season and are ready to take on their opponents. Here is a look at the team’s upcoming schedule:
The team’s coaching staff
The High Point University Panthers baseball team is a NCAA Division I college baseball team competing in the Big South Conference The Panthers are coached by Darin Johnson, who is entering his first season as Head Coach of the program. Johnson was previously the head coach at Morehead State University
The team’s home field
The High Point University baseball team will play its home games at Willard Stadium this season. The stadium, which opened in 2002, has a seating capacity of 1,500.
The team’s conference opponents
The team’s conference opponents this season are Liberty, NC State, Campbell, High Point and Gardner-Webb.
The team’s non-conference opponents
The team’s non-conference opponents are: Appalachian State Campbell, ECU, George Mason High Point Howard, James Madison Liberty, Longwood, NC A&T, NC Central, Norfolk State Radford, Richmond, St. Joseph’s, VMI and William & Mary.
