The Starting Lineup

The starting lineup for the 2020 baseball season has officially been announced, and there are some Great players on the roster! Here is a look at who will be taking the field for the IMG Academy this year:

Catcher: J.T. Realmuto
First baseman: Freddie Freeman
Second baseman: Ozzie Albies
Shortstop: Dansby Swanson
Third baseman: Josh Donaldson
Outfielders: Ronald Acuña Jr., Marcell Ozuna, and Ender Inciarte
Starting pitcher: Mike Soroka

There is a lot of talent on this team, and we can’t wait to see how they do this season!

The Bench

The full IMG Baseball Roster is here! Our team is stacked with talent from top to bottom, and we can’t wait to see what they can do on the field.

Headlining our team is, of course, our pitching ace, Cole Hamels. Cole is a dominant force on the mound, and he’ll be leading our charge towards the playoffs. We’ve also got a strong lineup of Position players including All-Star caliber players like Giancarlo Stanton and Justin Turner

And don’t forget about our bench! We’ve got a deep bench of talented players who are ready to step up and contribute whenever they’re called upon. So whether we’re facing a tough opponent or simply need a spark of energy, we know that our bench will be there to deliver.

We’re excited to see what this team can do, and we hope you’ll join us for the ride!

The bullpen

The bullpen is the part of the baseball field that is between the foul lines and is used by Relief pitchers These pitchers come into the game when the starting pitcher is no longer able to continue, typically due to having given up too many runs, being injured, or because it is late in the game and their team is behind. The bullpen often has high walls to protect pitchers from line drives hit back at them, and there are usually two rows of benches where the relief pitchers can sit and wait to be called into the game.

The minor leagues

The minor leagues are baseball’s development stage. This is where young hopefuls and fringe players try to hone their skills and earn their spot on a Major League roster. The minor leagues are also where you’ll find some of the most die-hard baseball fans in the country. They’re the ones who follow their team from city to city and cheer them on through thick and thin. If you’re looking for a more intimate baseball experience the minors are definitely the way to go.

The international players

This year, the IMG Academy baseball roster features an interesting mix of local and International Players The team includes players from all over the world, including the Dominican Republic Venezuela, Cuba, Australia, Japan, and South Korea
