He has a wealth of experience at the high school level, having coached at Punahou School and Kamehameha Schools before coming to Iolani. Coach Kaneshiro is a graduate of Iolani School and played baseball for the University of Hawaii He is known for his calm demeanor and his ability to connect with his players.

Steve Krukow is in his first year as Head Coach of the Iolani varsity baseball team Coach Krukow played professional baseball for 16 years, including 13 years in Major League Baseball with the San Francisco Giants He was inducted into the Giants’ Hall of Fame in 2012. In addition to his experience as a player, Coach Krukow has also coached at the collegiate level, most recently as an Assistant Coach at UC Berkeley. He is known for his passion for the game and his dedication to player development
