John Galloway was born on August 16, 1996, in Manassas, Virginia. Galloway’s father, John Sr., is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps His mother, Karen Galloway, is a registered nurse. Galloway has two older sisters, Jackie and Jenny. He also has a younger brother, Jake.
Galloway attended Brentsville District high school in Nokesville, Virginia. Galloway was a three-sport athlete at Brentsville, playing baseball basketball, and football. As a senior, he was named the Conference 22 Player of the Year in baseball after hitting .477 with four home runs and 33 RBIs. He was also named first-team All-Region III in baseball and second-team All-Region III in football as a senior.

John Galloway comes from a baseball family His father, John Galloway Sr., was a catcher at the University of Pittsburgh. His older brother, Mike, was a pitcher at St. Bonaventure University. When it came time for John to choose a college, he wanted to create his own path.
