The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) is the top level Professional Baseball League in South Korea The KBO was founded in 1982, and comprises of ten teams These teams are the NC Dinos, Doosan Bears Lotte Giants, Samsung Lions, SK Wyverns, LG Twins, Kia Tigers Hanwha Eagles, Nexen Heroes and theKT Wiz.

1) Kang-ho Chan-Ho Park – Park is a right-handed starting pitcher who played for the LA Dodgers, NY Mets, Texas Rangers and San Diego Padres during his 20 year MLB career. He is the only Korean-born player to ever win an MLB MVP Award ( 1999 with the Rangers). He was also a two-time All Star ( 2001 & 2002). Park retired from MLB in 2012 with a career record of 124-98 and an ERA of 4.36.
2) Sung-Ho Jung – Jung is a right-handed relief pitcher who made his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2016. He has also pitched for the Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers In 2017, he was named to the NL All Star team. He currently has a career record of 7-4 with an ERA of 2.60.
3) Ki-Jong Song – Song is a left-handed starting pitcher who played for the Chunichi Dragons in Japan’s NPB league from 2005 until he signed with the Cincinnati Reds in 2014. He also pitched for the Oakland Athletics during his MLB career. His best season came in 2015 when he went 12-10 with an ERA of 3.33 for the Reds. He last pitched in MLB in 2016 and currently has a career record of 24-29 with an ERA of 4.67.
4) Dae Ho Lee – Lee is a first baseman/designated hitter who played for the Seattle Mariners and Boston Red Sox during his short 2 year MLB career ( 2016 & 2017). He was named to the AL All Star team in 2017 after hitting .303 with 19 home runs and 96 RBI’s for Seattle that season. Lee returned to play in Korea for his hometown team, The Nexen Heroes, in 2018 where he currently plays today.
5) Hyun Soo Kim – Kim is an outfielder who played for both Baltimore Orioles Philadelphia Phillies during his 2 year MLB career ( 2016 & 2017). In 128 games for Baltimore in 2016, he hit .302 with 10 home runs and 68 RBI’s en route to being named AL Rookie of The Year that season. Kim returned to play baseball In South Korea For The Hanshin Tigers In 2018 And Currently Plays For Them Today.)
