The La Salle high school baseball team has a busy schedule ahead, with games scheduled against rivals St. Paul’s and Regis.
In addition to the games listed below, La Salle will also participate in the annual Spring Break tournament. This year’s event will be held at La Salle’s home field.

As of April 6, 2019, the La Salle high school baseball team is in first place in the Great Western League with a record of 7-1.
Team stats
The La Salle high school Baseball Team is made up of young men in grades nine through twelve who share a passion for the game. The team has a long tradition of success, and this year is no different. The team is currently undefeated, with a record of 12-0. They have outscored their opponents by a margin of over 100 runs, and have only allowed more than two runs in a game once all season. In addition to their impressive record, the team also boasts some of the best individual performers in the state.
The team is led by their captain, senior third baseman Luke Petrucci. Luke is batting .500 on the season, with four home runs and 22 RBIs. He is also one of the team’s top pitchers, with a record of 5-0 and an ERA of 1.50. Other top performers include sophomore pitcher Matt Johnson, who has a record of 4-0 and an ERA of 1.75, and junior outfielder Alex Rodriguez who is batting .480 with three home runs and 20 RBIs.
With such a talented and successful team, it’s no surprise that the La Salle high school baseball schedule is packed with big games. Some of the highlights include games against traditional rivals St. John’s Prep and Xavier high school as well as against non-conference foe East Side high school

Fans’ perspective
As the La Salle High school baseball team starts their season, fans are looking forward to watching the games.
The team’s first game is against St. Francis de Sales, which is sure to be a tough match. However, with their strong lineup including Mark Higgins and Jack Doyle, the La Salle team is looking promising.
Other games throughout the season include rival school Practical Arts, which La Salle has been struggling to beat in recent years
With a new coach and fresh energy on the team, though, La Salle is hopeful that they can take home the win this year.
