Lipscomb Baseball’s schedule is packed this season. The team will be playing their home games at the on-campus Duffey-_-Wyatt Field, and they will be travelling to tournaments and games across the country. Some of the highlights of their schedule include:

* The season opener against Virginia on February 15th
* A three-game series against crosstown rivals Vanderbilt from March 8th-10th
* Their annual trip to Florida for the Sunshine State Classic from March 14th-17th
* A home series against defending National Champion Oregon State from April 19th-21st

This season, Lipscomb baseball is packed with 27 home games 4 neutral site games, and 9 road games. They will play a total of 40 games in the regular season The Bisons have matchups against some tough opponents, including 15 games against teams that made the NCAA tournament last year. This will certainly be a test for the young team, but one that they are looking forward to.

The Bisons will play twenty-seven games at home and eighteen on the road in the regular season They will also participate in three tournaments which includes the opening weekend home tournament, the Sod Poodlesinvitational, and the Louisville Slugger Invitational. Lipscomb’s opponents this season features some big name teams such as Vanderbilt, Ole Miss Indiana, Purdue, and Louisville.

Lipscomb’s Coaching Staff

Lipscomb’s Coaching Staff is excited about the 2019 baseball season The season kicks off February 15 with a three-game series against Eastern Illinois The home opener is February 22 against Illinois State

“We are looking forward to a great season,” said Lipscomb Head Coach Jeff Thomas. “We have a lot of new faces and a lot of talent. We are excited to see how far we can go this season.”

The Bison will play 56 games this season, 27 at home and 29 on the road.

Lipscomb’s History

Lipscomb University’s baseball team has a long and rich history. The team has been around since the university was founded in 1891, and they have been playing competitively since 1902. The team has won 12 conference championships and made it to the NCAA Tournament 5 times. The most recent appearance was in 2018, when the team made it to the regional finals.
