The 2020 Louisville Cardinals Baseball Team will open their season on February 14th with a three-game home series against Eastern Kentucky. The Cardinals will play a total of 56 games in the 2020 season, 27 of which will be at home in Louisville.
Some of the highlights of the 2020 schedule include a home series against the University of Kentucky Wildcats as well as ACC foes Miami, Virginia Tech and Clemson. The Cardinals will also travel to Omaha, Nebraska to take on the creme de la creme of college baseball the Creighton Bluejays
The Cardinals are coming off a 2019 season in which they went 36-25 (19-11 in conference play) and made it to the NCAA tournament for the fourth straight year. They will look to build on that success in 2020 with another talented squad. Head Coach Dan McDonnell enters his 13th season at the helm of the Cardinals, and has a career record of 637-243 (.724 winning percentage) at Louisville.
