The Players
The LSU baseball team has a long and storied history, with many Great players having donned the purple and gold. Tonight, they take on their biggest rival, the University of Southern California Trojans. Here are some of the Key Players to watch on both sides.
For LSU, sophomore Jared Poche will be taking the mound. Poche had a strong freshman campaign, posting a 8-4 record with a 3.08 ERA. He’ll be looking to build on that success tonight against the Trojans.
In the batter’s box, keep an eye on senior outfielder Antoine Duplantis. Duplantis is one of the top hitters in the SEC, batting .327 with 8 home runs and 37 RBI so far this season. He’s also stolen 19 bases, which is good for second in the conference.
