LSU Baseball Team

The LSU baseball team is one of the most successful programs in all of college baseball The team has won numerous SEC championships and National Championships and they always seem to be in the mix for a postseason berth. The LSU Tigers have a rich history and tradition of success on the diamond, and they continue to produce some of the best players in the Game Today

The team is currently coached by Paul Mainieri, who is entering his 15th season at the helm. Mainieri has led the Tigers to six SEC titles and four College World Series appearances, including a National Championship in 2009. The Tigers have consistently been one of the top teams in the country under Mainieri’s watch, and they are once again poised for another run at a title this season.

LSU will open up their 2019 campaign on February 15th with a three-game series against UNO. The Tigers will then host BYU for a three-game set before hitting the road for a marquee matchup against Texas A&M. The 2018 Season

It’s that time of year again! Time to dust off the old baseball gloves and cleats and get ready for another season of America’s Favorite Pastime And what better team to root for than the LSU Tigers?

The Tigers are coming off a strong 2017 campaign in which they finished first in the SEC West with a 49-17 record. They’ll look to build on that success this year with an even more talented squad. Head Coach Paul Mainieri has put together another great recruiting class so expectations are high in Baton Rouge

The team will be led by junior outfielder Antoine Duplantis, who is one of the best hitters in college baseball He’ll be flanked by fellow juniors Zach Watson and Daniel Cabrera, who both had terrific seasons last year. The pitching staff will be anchored by sophomore right-hander Zack Hess, who was outstanding as a freshman and should only get better this year.

With so much talent on the roster, it’s no surprise that the Tigers are once again being touted as one of the top teams in college baseball They’re currently ranked No. 4 in Baseball America’s preseason poll and No. 5 by perfect game USA. So make sure to follow them closely this season!

One of the biggest highlights from the season was when we swept Alabama in a three-game series. It was a great show of strength from our team, and it really solidified our spot as one of the Top Teams in the country. We also had a great run in the SEC tournament making it all the way to the Championship game before ultimately falling to Florida.

Despite coming up just short of our ultimate goal, it was still a hugely successful season overall. We finished with a record of 49-16, which is nothing to scoff at. And we’ll be looking to build on that success next year as we aim for an even better campaign.
