Roster

Key Players

The LSU men’s Basketball team will feature a number of Key Players during the 2019-20 season Among them are returning starters Skylar Mays and Naz Reid, as well as transfer guard Trendon Watford

Mays, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 16.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game last season and was named to the All-SEC First Team. He will be looked upon to provide leadership for the Tigers this season.

Reid, a 6-foot-10 center, averaged 13.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game last season and is one of the best big men in the SEC. He will be counted on to anchor LSU’s defense and help the Tigers on the glass.

Watford, a 6-foot-9 forward, transferred to LSU from Indiana where he averaged 11.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game last season. He gives the Tigers another scoring option and will also help on the boards.

Newcomers

The LSU men’s basketball team welcomes seven newcomers to the roster for the 2019-20 season.

Head coach Will Wade added six freshmen and one graduate transfer to the team during the offseason.

The freshman class is made up of 5-star center James Wiseman 5-star point guard Trendon Watford, 4-star shooting guard Javonte Smart 4-star Power Forward Aundre Hyatt, 3-star small forward Darius Days and 3-star shooting guard Charles Manning Jr.

The lone graduate transfer is 6-foot-9 forward Naz Reid, who comes to LSU from Penn State
