TBS will televise four MLB regular-season game telecasts during the final week of the 2020 campaign, highlighted by an American League West showdown between the Houston Astros and Oakland Athletics on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 3:00 p.m. ET. Sunday’s game will be preceded by an exclusive presentation of MLB Central featuring live look-ins at all of that day’s significant contests with potential postseason implications around the league.

An Interleague battle between National League East rivals when the Philadelphia Phillies host the Miami Marlins on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 1:00 p.m. ET rounds out TBS’ regular-season schedule.

Major League Baseball on TBS is a presentation of Regular Season and postseason major league baseball game telecasts that air on the American cable and satellite network TBS. The games are produced by Turner Sports the sports division of the Turner Broadcasting System subsidiary of Time Warner, TBS’s parent company.

TBS airs Sunday afternoon MLB games from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend (excluding any conflicts with its exclusive coverage of the Atlanta Braves), as well as one regular-season game each Tuesday and Wednesday evening during September and October (excluding any potential exclusive coverage of ALDS, ALCS, and NLCS games). On staffing,Ernie Johnson Jr. serves as studio host for TBS’s MLB broadcasts, with Ron Darling serving as color analyst and Dennis Eckersley as special contributor/ color analyst. Matt Winer also serves as an alternate studio host. For game telecasts on both Monday and Tuesday evenings (except when a national holiday falls on either day), Brian Anderson serves as play-by-play announcer with Darling again serving as color analyst; John Smoltz also serves as an analyst for select games on both nights. In addition, Aaron Goldsmith provides play-by-play for TBS’sNL Division Series coverage, with Darling again serving alongside him. Eckersley is also used on select Division Series and League Championship Series games (alternating between the two series) when other Turner networks – TNT or truTV – have conflicts with their NBA or NCAA tournament coverage respectively).
