The Jaspers are looking to make a run!
The Jaspers are looking to make a run in the post-season this year and they have the schedule to back it up. With games against some of the best teams in the country, the Jaspers will have their hands full but if they can come out on top, they will be a force to be reckoned with in the post-season.
Can they make the NCAA Tournament?
The 2019-2020 schedule for the Manhattan Jaspers Men’s basketball team has arrived, and there is much excitement surrounding the team this year. The Jaspers are coming off a disappointing season in which they failed to make the NCAA tournament but with a strong core of returning players and some highly touted recruits, there is hope that this will be the year that the Jaspers make a run at the Big Dance.
The schedule is packed with tough games, but there are also plenty of opportunities for the Jaspers to prove themselves against quality opponents. Non-conference games against Rutgers, Hofstra, La Salle, and St. John’s will all be great tests for Manhattan, and if they can come out of those games with a few wins, they will have a great chance at making the NCAA Tournament
The MAAC schedule is always tough, but this year it looks to be especially difficult with defending champion Iona leading the way. However, if Manhattan can stay competitive in conference play and rack up some big wins against MAAC foes like Siena and Rider, they should be in good shape come tournament time.
It’s going to be an exciting year for Manhattan basketball and fans will definitely want to keep an eye on the team’s progress throughout the season.
