Introduction to Mayde Creek Basketball

Mayde Creek High School Basketball is a team that competes in Division I of the 6A conference in Texas. They are coached by Chris Johnson who is entering his third season as the Head Coach of the Rams. The team plays its home games at Mayde Creek high school in Katy, Texas.

The Rams have had success in recent years making the playoffs in three of the last four seasons. In 2019, they made it to the second round of the playoffs before losing to eventual state champion Austin Westlake.

The 2020 Mayde Creek Basketball team is led by senior guard Jaden Hodge and junior forward Kendall Duffie. Other Key Players include seniors Christian Reyes and Ray Lopez, and junior guard Amir McGee.

The Rams will look to make another deep run in the playoffs this season and continue their recent success on the court.

The Team’s History

Mayde Creek High School’s basketball team has a long and successful history. The team was founded in 1967 and has since won numerous championships at the city, state, and national levels. The team is currently coached by Michael Anderson, who has been with the team for over 10 years.

The team’s success can be attributed to its strong Coaching Staff dedicated players, and die-hard fans. Mayde Creek high school is known for having some of the strongest student athletes in the state of Texas. The school’s Basketball Program is one of the most competitive in the Houston area, and the team regularly competes against some of the best teams in the nation.

The Mayde Creek basketball team plays their home games at the Mayde Creek high school gymnasium. The gymnasium is a large, rectangular space with a hardwood floor and a capacity of up to 2,000 spectators. The court is regulation size and has foul lines, a three-point arc, and a key. There are two baskets at each end of the court, and each basket is surrounded by a padded backboard.

The Mayde Creek gymnasium is well-lit and has plenty of seating for spectators. The bleachers are arranged in such a way that everyone in the stands has a good view of the court. There is also a concessions stand in the gymnasium, so you can buy snacks and drinks during the game.

The Mayde Creek Basketball Team has been gracing the court since the school’s founding in 1992. In that time, they’ve cemented their place as one of the top programs in Katy ISD. The team is currently coached by David Odom, who has led them to 5 playoff appearances in his 7 seasons at the helm.

The team’s media relations are handled by Garrett Galvin. Garrett is a former Mayde Creek student-athlete himself, having played on the varsity soccer team before graduating in 2010. He went on to attend Liberty University where he earned a degree in Communications.
