MHS Basketball The Team to Beat
The Massillon Tigers are gearing up for another exciting season of basketball. After a successful season last year, the team is looking to build on their success and take things to the next level. With a strong group of returning players and some new additions to the team, the Tigers are poised for a great season.
Fans can expect an exciting brand of basketball from the Tigers this season. The team has a good mix of experience and youth, and they are sure to be one of the most entertaining teams in the area. Be sure to catch them in action this winter!
MHS Basketball: A New Era
The Mahomet-Seymour high school boys’ Basketball team is coming off a 14-16 season in which they finished sixth in the Apollo Conference.
Coach Matt Franks is entering his second year at the helm of the program and will look to improve on last season’s conference finish. The Bulldogs will have a new look this season as they move from the Apollo Conference to the Champaign Central 8 Conference.
Mahomet-Seymour will also have a new look on the court as they will have just two returning players from last season’s squad. The Bulldogs will have to rely on their young players to step up and fill the void left by last year’s senior class.
The Bulldogs will open their season on November 27th against rival Urbana at home.
MHS Basketball: The Road to Success
The Mendon Hornets will look to continue their recent success this winter as they embark on another season of hardwood action. After winning 18 games and reaching the Division III state semifinals a year ago, Head Coach Jason Taken is confident that his team can take things even further this time around.
“We have a lot of experience back from last year’s team,” says Taken. “Our goal is always to compete for a league and district championship, and we think we have the talent to do that again this year.”
The Hornets will be led by a strong group of seniors, including returning starters Liam Green and Ryan McDonald. Green, who averaged 17 points per game last season, will once again be the team’s top scoring option, while McDonald will provide a steadying presence at point guard Additionally, seniors Matt Dorsey and Nate Rowe will add valuable depth in the frontcourt.
With a mix of experience and youth, the Hornets appear to have all the pieces in place for another Successful Season Be sure to catch them in action this winter!
MHS Basketball: Building a Dynasty
Despite a rocky end to last season, the Mountain View High School (MHS) basketball team is looking to rebuild and come back stronger than ever. With a core group of experienced players and some talented new additions, the team is poised to make a run at the conference championship
Leading the way for the team will be senior point guard Jason Johnson. Johnson was an all-conference selection last year and is one of the best playmakers in the league. He will be flanked by fellow seniors Danny Lee and Matt Franklin, who provide outside shooting and tough defense, respectively.
The frontcourt will be anchored by junior center Nate Robinson who has developed into one of the top big men in the conference. Robinson will be supported by junior forwards Mark Williams and Eric Johnson, who give the team a nice balance of size and athleticism.
With a deep and talented roster, MHS has high hopes for this season. If everything comes together, they could make a run at a state title.
MHS Basketball: The Future is Bright
The Menlo-Atherton high school (MHS) Varsity Basketball team is poised to have a great season. The team is young, but has a lot of talent and potential.
The future is bright for MHS basketball. The team has a core of young players who are already showing great promise. With a few more years of development, they have the potential to be one of the best teams in the state.
This season, the team will be led by seniors Marcus Johnson and Jack Potter. Johnson is a 6’5″ wing who is an excellent scorer and rebounder. Potter is a 6’3″ point guard who is a great playmaker and shooter. Both players have received interest from college basketball programs and will be looking to lead MHS to a successful season.
Other Key Players on the team include junior forwards Michael O’Neill and Kevin Flynn, who are both excellent athletes with a lot of upside. Sophomore guard Max Weisberg is another gifted player who should make a big impact this season.
With a mix of experienced seniors and talented young players MHS has all the pieces in place for a successful season. The future is bright for Menlo-Atherton basketball!

The Milford high school Basketball Program has a long tradition of excellence. The team has won numerous conference and State Championships and has produced some of the most talented players in the country. This year’s team is no different, and is poised to make a run at another state title.
The team is led by Senior captain, Ryan Smith who is one of the Top Players in the state. Smith is a dynamic scorer who can shoot from anywhere on the court. He is also an excellent rebounder and defender. Along with Smith, the team features a deep bench of talented players who are ready to step up and contribute.
The team’s success will depend on its ability to play well as a unit and to gel together as a team. If the players can buy into the system and play to their strengths, there is no doubt that this team has what it takes to win it all.

The MHS Basketball season is just around the corner and we could not be more excited! After an incredible season last year, we are looking forward to what this year has in store.
This season, we have a few goals that we would like to achieve as a team. First and foremost, we hope to win the Conference Championship Last year, we came up just short of this goal, so we are determined to take home the title this time around. Secondly, we would like to make it to the State Tournament and compete for a state championship This is something that has eluded us in recent years but we feel that with the talent and hard work of our players, it is definitely within reach.
We would like to invite all of our fans and supporters to come out and cheer us on during our quest for these goals. We firmly believe that with your help, we can make this season one to remember!
