Mount Lebanon Hockey: A Tradition of Excellence

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Association was founded in 1936, and the team has been a force to reckon with ever since. The Mount Lebanon Hockey Club has won numerous championships, including the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL) AAA title in 2013.

Mount Lebanon is also home to the Robert Morris University Colonials, a Division I college hockey team. The Colonials have found success in recent years qualified for the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament in 2014 and 2015.

The History of Mount Lebanon Hockey

Mount Lebanon Hockey is a well-renowned hockey program located in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The program has a long and successful history, dating back to its founding in 1938. Since then, Mount Lebanon Hockey has won numerous state and National Championships and produced a number of NHL players Today, the program remains one of the most respected and competitive Youth Hockey programs in the country.

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Club

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Club is a ice Hockey Team based in Lebanon. They are members of the Arab Ice hockey Federation and compete in the world’s second highest ice Hockey League the Asia League ice hockey The team was founded in 1953 and play their home games at the CURyeHoc in Beirut.

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Club has been one of the most successful teams in Asia, winning the Arab ice hockey Championship a record 20 times. They have also won the Asia League ice hockey Championship 3 times.

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Association

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Association (MLHA) is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organization that has provided organized Youth Hockey in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, for over 50 years. The MLHA is one of the oldest and most successful youth hockey programs in the United States

The MLHA is comprised of six divisions: Mite (ages 6-8), Squirt (ages 9-10), Peewee (ages 11-12), Bantam (ages 13-14), Midget Minor (ages 15-16), and Midget Major (ages 17-18). The Association fields teams at all levels of play, from beginner to AAA. The MLHA also offers a Learn to Play Hockey program for children ages 4-5.

The MLHA is a proud member of USA Hockey and the Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey League (PAHL).

The Mount Lebanon Hockey League

The league was founded in 1984 by a group of dedicated Hockey Enthusiasts The league is currently made up of 10 teams, all of which are based in the Lebanon Valley. The MLHL prides itself on being a competitive, yet fun league for all levels of play.

The MLHL has something to offer everyone, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran. We offer a variety of programs for all ages and abilities. Our programs include:
-A recreational program for those just learning the game or looking to play at a lower level of competition.
-A travel program for those who want to compete at a higher level.
-A developmental program for those who want to learn more about the game and improve their skills.

We also have an extensive youth program, which provides an opportunity for children aged 4-18 to learn the game and develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Started in the early 1900s by legendary coach John Harlow, the camp has produced some of the most successful Hockey Players in history. Today, the camp is run by John’s grandson, Mark Harlow, and continues to produce top-level hockey players

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Shop

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Shop is a one-of-a-kind store that has been serving the needs of Hockey players for over fifty years. Located in the heart of Mount Lebanon, the shop provides everything a player needs to get out on the ice, from sticks and skates to pads and helmets.

The shop is owned and operated by Frank and Mary Capobianco, who have passed their love of the game down to their children and grandchildren. The family has been involved in hockey for generations, and they continue to be involved in the community through the shop.

The shop is more than just a place to buy equipment; it is a gathering place for players and families. The Capobiancos have created a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels like part of the family. They are always ready to lend a helping hand, whether it’s giving advice on what equipment to buy or just taking the time to talk about the game.

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Foundation

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the sport of hockey in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The Foundation is committed to providing opportunities for all members of the community to participate in and enjoy the sport of hockey.

The Foundation provides financial assistance to individuals and families in need of assistance in order to participate in hockey programs The Foundation also provides support to local organizations that are dedicated to promoting and improving the quality of hockey in Mount Lebanon.

The Mount Lebanon Hockey Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible.
