MSU Denver vs. University of Arizona (March 8-10)
This weekend series will be a true test for the Roadrunners, as they take on one of the best teams in the country. The Wildcats are currently ranked No. 2 in the nation, and they’ll be looking to take down MSU Denver. This will be a great series to watch, as two of the best teams in the country go head-to-head.

MSU Denver vs. Texas Tech University (March 29-31)
The Red Raiders are another team that will be looking to make a statement against MSU Denver this season. Texas Tech is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation, and they’ll be looking to prove that they’re one of the best teams in the country. This series is sure to be a great one, as two top-10 teams go head-to-head.

MSU Denver vs. Brigham Young University (April 5-7)
The Roadrunners will have their hands full when they take on Brigham Young this April. The Cougars are currently ranked No. 23 in the nation, and they’ll be looking to knock off MSU Denver. This promises to be a great series, as two nationally ranked teams battle it out on the diamond.

The Schedule

With another long, cold winter coming to an end, thoughts naturally turn to baseball. For fans of the MSU Denver Roadrunners, that means it’s time to start planning which games you’re going to attend this season. While every game is an opportunity to support your team, some matchups are more enticing than others. Here are four games on the schedule that are definitely worth your time.

March 29-31 vs. Fort Lewis College Skyhawks
This will be the first time these two in-state rivals have faced each other since 2014, and with both teams expected to be near the top of their Conference Standings it should be a great series. The games will be played at Regency Athletic Complex on the MSU Denver campus, so you won’t even have to leave town to see some great baseball

April 12-14 vs. Metropolitan State University of Denver Pioneers
This is always one of the most anticipated series of the year, as the two Denver schools square off for bragging rights in what has becomeKnown as the “Battle of Colfax Avenue.” The games will again be played at Regency Athletic Complex, so don’t miss your chance to see one of the best rivalries in Division II baseball up close and personal.

May 10-12 vs. Colorado School of Mines Orediggers
The Orediggers are always a tough opponent, but this year they should be especially tough, as they are currently ranked No. 23 in Division II by Collegiate Baseball News. This will also be Senior Weekend for MSU Denver, so come out and support the Roadrunners as they honor their seniors before they take their final home stand of the season.

May 17-19 vs. University of Colorado – Colorado Springs Mountain Lions
This will be the final series of the season for MSU Denver, and it will also be Senior Weekend for UC Colorado Springs. These two teams have been near the top of their conference standings for several years now, so this should be a great way to end the season on a high note.

The Rivalry is one of the most exciting aspects of college baseball and MSU Denver is no exception. Our team has a long-standing rivalry with the University of Colorado Boulder, and this year’s games are sure to be just as intense as ever. So mark your calendars and make your way to Regency Athletic Complex to catch all the action.

March 10-11: Home series against Grand Canyon University

The Venue

MSU Denver’s home games are played at Regency Athletic Complex, located on the Auraria campus. The ballpark has a capacity of 500 spectators, and features a concessions stand, press box, and public restrooms.

-March 16-18: Alumni Weekend. Come out and support the team, and catch up with old friends, as MSU Denver celebrates its baseball alumni

-April 6-8: Conference home opener against New Mexico Highlands University. The ‘Runners will be looking to continue their domination of the RMAC in this key conference series.

-May 11-13: Senior Weekend. The team’s seniors will be honored before their final home series of the season, against Colorado Mesa University.
