In March, the Racers will play their first conference series against Eastern Kentucky. They will also have home conference series against Morehead State Southeast Missouri, Belmont, and Tennessee Tech The Racers end their regular season on the road against Austin Peay

Key Games to Look Forward to

The Murray State baseball schedule is here and there are some key games to look forward to this season! One of the most highly anticipated games is the home opener against Eastern Kentucky on February 21. This will be a great opportunity for the Racers to show their stuff in front of a home crowd Other key games include a three-game series against Morehead State on April 17-19 and a four-game series against Southern Illinois on May 15-17. The wait is finally over, Racers baseball fans The 2021 season schedule has been released, and it looks like we’re in for a treat. Here are some of the highlights:

The home opener is set for Friday, February 19th against Eastern Kentucky. The first conference series will be played on the road against Morehead State the following weekend. From there, the Racers will have a string of home games including matchups against Louisville, Wright State and Miami (OH).

How the Team is Faring So Far

Now that the Murray State Baseball team’s schedule has been released, let’s take a look at how the team is doing so far. The team’s record is 4-0, with notable wins against Louisville and Vanderbilt. The Racers are currently ranked No. 26 in the nation by perfect game and No. 27 by D1 Baseball. Head Coach Kevin O’Sullivan is in his eighth season with the team, and he has led the Racers to six NCAA tournament appearances.

Baseball has been a part of Murray State University since the school was founded in 1922. The team has seen success over the years, winning 12 Ohio Valley Conference titles and making 3 NCAA Tournament appearances. The Murray State Baseball Team is currently a Division I program that competes in the Ohio Valley Conference

The Murray State Racers baseball team is set to have an exciting season this year! Under the coaching of Kevin Moulder, the team is looking to take home the Championship Title With a strong lineup of experienced players, the Racers are sure to be a force to be reckoned with on the diamond.

The Murray State baseball Roster

The Murray State baseball team has released their 2019 schedule, and it looks like they will have a busy season! The team will play 52 games in total, with 27 of those games being at home. The first game of the season is on February 15th against Eastern Kentucky, and the last game is on May 19th against Morehead State conference play starts on March 8th against SIU Edwards Carbondale and conference opponents include Belmont, Austin Peay Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State and UT Martin.

The Coaching Staff

The Coaching Staff for the Murray State Baseball Team is led by head coach Chris Finwood. Coach Finwood is entering his ninth season as the Head Coach of the Racers, and he has a career record of 471-344. He has led the Racers to five NCAA tournament appearances, and he was named the Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year in 2013.

Assistant coaches on the staff include pitching coach Mike Brown hitting coach Gabe <>, and defensive coordinator Brad Duncan. Brown is entering his second season with the Racers, while <> and Duncan are both entering their first season.
