Navy Colgate basketball is set to return for the 2019-2020 Season head coach Paul Grenoble will have a young, but experienced team. The team only has two seniors, but they have nine players who saw significant playing time last season.

The team will be led by point guard Jayden Garnett. Garnett is a junior and he was second on the team in scoring last season with 11 points per game He also averaged 3 assists per game Look for Garnett to be even better this season as he takes on more of a leadership role.

The other returning starter is shooting guard Zach Fong. Fong is a junior who was third on the team in scoring last season with 10 points per game He is also a very good shooter and he will be counted on to provide some outside shooting this season.

The Navy Colgate basketball team will have some depth this season with eight players who saw significant playing time last year coming off the bench. Look for sophomore forward Matt Soper-Altman to see his minutes increase this year as he provides some much-needed frontcourt depth.

Sophomore guard Conor Hanrahan and freshman guard Bryce Dulin will also be key contributors off the bench this season. Hanrahan is a good shooter and Dulin is a very good defender. Both players will see their fair share of playing time this season
