The 2019-2020 NHL schedule has finally been released and the Colorado Avalanche will be opening their season at home against the Calgary Flames on October 3rd. Here is a look at the full schedule for the upcoming season
October 3rd – Calgary Flames
October 5th – @ St. Louis Blues
October 8th – New York Islanders
October 10th – @ Nashville Predators
October 12th – Edmonton Oilers
October 14th – @ Arizona Coyotes
October 17th – Vegas Golden Knights
A look at the Avs schedule
The NHL Avs schedule is here, and we are excited to take a look at it! The Avs will be playing their first game of the season on October 3rd against the Nashville Predators This will be the first of four games they play against the Predators this season. The Avs will also be playing the St. Louis Blues four times this season, and the Dallas Stars six times.

The Avs away games are:
-March 3 at St. Louis

The Avs back-to-backs
As the NHL approaches the post-season, the schedule is heating up and the Avalanche have their fair share of back-to-back games.
Starting on March 27th, they take on the Chicago Blackhawks away, and then return home to Denver the very next day to take on the Vegas Golden Knights
This will be followed by another set of back-to-backs – they play the Minnesota Wild at home on April 3rd, and then travel to take on the Winnipeg Jets on April 4th.
Their final set of back-to-backs this season are against divisional rivals – first, they take on the Nashville Predators at home on April 10th, and then travel to St. Louis to take on the Blues on April 11th.
