NJIT Basketball Schedule: Games to Watch This Season

Game 3: vs. Rutgers

The New Jersey Institute of Technology Highlanders will take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in their third game of the season. This will be a big game for NJIT, as they look to prove that they can compete with one of the top teams in the conference. The Highlanders will have their work cut out for them, as Rutgers is a tough team to beat at home. However, if NJIT can come out and play with the same intensity and hustle that they did in their last game, they have a chance to pull off the upset.

Game 4: vs. Princeton

The Highlanders will take on the Princeton Tigers on Saturday, December 8th at 8:00 pm in Jadwin Gymnasium. This will be the fourth game of the season for NJIT, and their second Home game The Highlanders are coming off of a loss to Harvard, while Princeton defeated Columbia in their last game.

Game 6: vs. Yale

The Highlanders will face off against the Yale Bulldogs on Friday, December 5th at 7:00 pm. This will be the sixth game of the season for both teams. Yale is currently 3-2, with their most recent game being a loss to Sacred Heart NJIT is 4-1, with their most recent game being a win against Monmouth.

Game 7: vs. Columbia

The Highlanders will look to extend their home Winning Streak to seven games when they face Columbia on Saturday, December 21 at 1 p.m. at the Fleisher Athletic Center.

NJIT is 6-1 at home this season, with the lone loss coming against Willingboro High in the season opener Since then, the Highlanders have won six straight, including four in a row against Division I opponents.

Columbia comes into the game with a 5-4 record, but the Lions are just 1-4 on the road. NJIT is 4-2 against Columbia since joining Division I in 2006, but the Lions have won two of the last three meetings between the two teams.
