Over the next few decades, North Rockland would become one of the most dominant programs in New York State The team won state championships in 1980, 1982, 1983, 1985, and 1986. In total, North Rockland won six regional championships and five State Championships during this time.

Mike D’Antoni, who coached the team from 1992 to 1996, is one of the most successful coaches in NBA history Vinny Kotck played 13 seasons in the NBA and was a member of two NBA Championship teams.
