Player statistics

Davon Reed- Reed is a 6’6” shooting guard that is from Salam, New Jersey. He played his High School basketball at Princeton Day Academy. He was a four star recruit coming out of high school and was ranked as the 44th best player in the nation. He committed to the University of Miami but decided to transfer to play for the Northern Arizona Lumbersjacks.

Reed has played two years for the Lumberjacks and has started all but one game. As a junior he averaged 11 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game He improved those numbers as a senior averaging 15 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2 assists per game He was named to the All-Big Sky Conference first team as a senior.

Reed is a good three point shooter and takes almost half of his shots from behind the arc. He shot 42% from three point range as a senior which was good for second in the conference. He is also a good free throw shooter as he shot 80% from the Foul Line as a senior which was fourth in the conference.

The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks are 4-0 in the Big Sky Conference and will put their perfect conference record on the line when they host the Weber State Wildcats on Thursday night

The Lumberjacks are coming off a tough 73-71 victory over the Eastern Washington Eagles on Tuesday night. Senior guard Aashton Vanderbilt led the way for NAU with 21 points, while junior forward Brooks DeBisschop added 15 points and eight rebounds.

The Wildcats, meanwhile, have struggled in conference play going 1-3 so far. They are coming off a loss to the Montana Grizzlies, whom the Lumberjacks defeated earlier this season.
