The Razorbacks got off to a hot start, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning. The Cowboys responded with two runs in the bottom of the frame, but that would be all they would muster against Arkansas starter Connor Noland. Noland went 6.1 innings, giving up just those two runs on six hits while striking out seven batters.
