The 2020 Arkansas Razorbacks Baseball Team will represent the University of Arkansas in the 2020 NCAA Division I baseball season The Razorbacks will play their home games at Baum–Walker Stadium, and compete in the West Division of the SEC.

The 2020 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team represents the University of Arkansas in the 2020 NCAA Division I baseball season The Razorbacks play their home games at Baum–Walker Stadium on the university’s Fayetteville, Arkansas campus. The team is coached by Dave Van Horn in his seventeenth season as Head Coach of the Razorbacks.
The Razorbacks finished the 2019 season 43–19 (18–12 in SEC play) to finish in fourth place in the SEC West Division. They qualified for the SEC Baseball Tournament where they defeated Auburn and Tennessee before losing to Mississippi State They qualified for the 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament where they swept Central Connecticut before losing to TCU.

The Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team represents the University of Arkansas in NCAA Division I college baseball The team participates in the West division of the Eastern Conference (SEC). They are currently coached by Dave Van Horn and play their home games at Baum Stadium, located on the university’s campus in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
As far as Conferenceallas go,Freshman All-American Casey Martin shortstop and Junior All-SEC second basemen Jalen Battles lead the way. Martin batted .319 with eight home runs 47 RBI and 19 stolen bases last season. As a freshman in 2019, he was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team, NCBWA Freshman All-American Team and the Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American Team.
On the mound, Arkansas will be led by Junior right-hander Connor Noland, who was named a Preseason Second Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball News. Noland went 7-4 with a 3.80 ERA in 15 starts last season. He struck out 79 batters while walking just 18 in 86 innings pitched
Catchers
The Arkansas Razorbacks Baseball Team is set to have a great 2020 season, and part of that is thanks to their talented roster of catchers. Here are the catchers who will be donning the Razorbacks uniform this year:
-Casey Opitz: A junior from Broken Arrow Oklahoma, Opitz is one of the most experienced catchers on the team. He’s played in 60 games over the past two seasons, and his strong arm has helped him throw out 18 would-be base-stealers. Opitz is also a good hitter, with a career batting average of .273.
-Jordan Dail: A sophomore from Springdale, Arkansas, Dail is another experienced catcher who saw significant playing time as a freshman in 2019. In 30 games last season, he batted .226 with one home run and eight RBIs. Dail is an excellent defensive catcher, with a quick release and Good footwork
--Blaine Knight A senior from Bryant, Arkansas, Knight is one of the top pitching prospects in the country. He’s been drafted twice (by the Baltimore Orioles in 2017 and by the Texas Rangers in 2018), but he chose to return to Arkansas for his senior season. Knight doesn’t have a ton of experience catching, but he’s a smart pitcher who knows how to work with different types of pitchers.
-Cole Zabowski: A junior from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Zabowski transferred to Arkansas from Ole Miss after his sophomore season. He’s a big (6’3″, 235 pounds), physical catcher with a strong arm. In limited action at Ole Miss he batted .250 with two home runs and eight RBIs in 25 games.

In 2020, the pitching staff was anchored by senior left-hander Kacey Murphy, who was named to the preseason All-SEC team. Other key pitchers included junior right-hander Isaiah Campbell, junior right-hander Connor Noland, and sophomore right-hander Engel Garcia.

2020 Season Outlook
The Arkansas Razorbacks Baseball Team is looking to improve upon their 2019 season in which they went 33-24 overall and advanced to the NCAA tournament The team will be led by senior pitcher Connor Noland, who was named a preseason all-American by multiple publications. The Razorbacks will also have key contributions from pitchers Matt Cronin and Zebulon Vermillion, as well as outfielders Heston Kjerstad and Dominic Fletcher. With a strong core of returning players, the Razorbacks are primed for another successful season in 2020.

The Arkansas Razorbacks compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and are members of the West Division of the Eastern Conference (SEC). The team plays its home games at Baum Stadium, located on the campus of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The 2020 season will be the 125th in program history. The Razorbacks have appeared in 37 NCAA tournaments and have won 18 conference championships including 13 SEC titles. Arkansas has made seven College World Series appearances, most recently in 2018.
The Razorbacks are led by Head Coach Dave Van Horn, who is entering his 17th season at the helm. Van Horn has compiled a 1,052-497-2 record during his time at Arkansas and has led the team to 14 NCAA Tournament appearances, six SEC championships and two College World Series berths.
The 2020 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball roster is loaded with talent, including several preseason All-Americans.
