The Team

The St. Olaf Baseball Team is a long-standing tradition dating back to the founding of the school in 1874. The team competes in the Minnesota collegiate athletic conference (MIAC) and plays its home games at Donhowe Field, located on St. Olaf’s Northfield campus. The team is currently coached by Matt Wollenburg, who has been at the helm since 2013. In his seven years at St. Olaf, Coach Wollenburg has led the team to two MIAC Championships and three NCAA tournament appearances.

The 2020 season will be an exciting one for St. Laf Baseball as the team looks to build on last year’s success and make another run at the MIAC title. The team will open its season on March 6 with a three-game series against Carthage College followed by a four-game series against Bethel University on March 13-14. After a brief break for Easter, the Oles will resume their schedule with a three-game series against Concordia College on April 3-4. Other key matchups on the schedule include a four-game series against Augsburg University on April 17-18 and a three-game series against St. John’s University on May 8-9. The Oles will wrap up their regular season with a three-game series against Macalester College on May 15-16.

The Schedule
