What makes Strake Jesuit’s Basketball team so successful?

It starts with Coach Messersmith, who has instilled a winning culture at the school. He’s a demanding coach who expects his players to give their all on the court. But he’s also a players’ coach who understands and relates to his players.

The team also has a great mix of talented players. There are players like Josh
Greene, who is a 6-foot-9 center and one of the best shot-blockers in the state. Then there are players like point guard Will Waller, who is a gifted passer and playmaker. And finally, there are players like shooting guard Matt Mooring, who is one of the best shooters in the state.

The Players

The Strake Jesuit Basketball team is a force to be reckoned with. The team has gone through ups and downs, but they always manage to come out on top. This year, the team is stacked with talent. The starting lineup includes:

point guard Carter Willette
shooting guard Alex Murphy
small forward Luke Michaelson
Power Forward Jack Williams
– Center: John Doe

Each of these players brings something unique to the table. Carter Willette is a speed demon on the court. He can get past any defender and he always seems to make the right decisions. Alex Murphy is a lights-out shooter. He can hit threes from anywhere on the court. Luke Michaelson is a physical specimen. He’s strong and quick, and he always seems to come up with big rebounds when we need them. Jack Williams is our enforcer in the paint. He’s not afraid to mix it up with the other team’s big men and he always seems to come away with the ball. And John Doe is our anchor in the middle. He’s a big body who takes up a lot of space, and he always seems to make things happen on both ends of the court.

This starting lineup has led us to an impressive record so far this season, and we don’t see any reason why they can’t continue their success in the playoffs. We have all the pieces in place for a deep run into March Madness
