The wait is finally over! The 2017 Towson baseball schedule has been released and we couldn’t be more excited.
Introduction
Coach Rob Viti is excited to announced the schedule for the 2019 season. The Tigers will play a total of 55 games, 27 of which will be at home in Tiger Stadium Check out the full schedule below and make sure to mark your calendar for all the big games!
The Regular Season
The Towson Baseball Schedule is Here! The regular season for the Tigers is set to begin on February 15th against West Virginia with the home opener set for February 21st against Bucknell. Fans can look forward to 30 home games this season, including games against nationally ranked programs such as UCLA and LSU.
The Postseason
ThePostseason baseball schedule is here! Towson Tigers will take on the winner of the Temple vs. Binghamton game in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Friday, May 31 at 1:00 p.m. at John Hopkins’ Dunbar Field in Baltimore. The game will be broadcast live on ESPNU.

The Stadium
The 2019 season will be the Tigers’ 95th as a baseball program and their first at the new on-campus John Paull II Stadium. The 3,200-seat facility is located at the south end of campus and will feature state-of-the-art amenities, such as a video board, concessions, and restrooms.
The History
Baseball is a sport that has been around for centuries. The game is thought to have originated in England, and it is believed that the first official game was played in Oxford in 1749. The game quickly gained popularity and soon spread to other countries, including the United States
The Game of Baseball has undergone many changes over the years, but the basic rules remain the same. The game is played between two teams, each consisting of nine players. The objective of the game is to score more runs than the other team. Runs are scored by Hitting the ball and then running around a series of bases before reaching home plate

The Future
The future of the Towson Baseball schedule is now set in stone. The first game of the season will be on February 15th, away at Norfolk State The first home game will be on February 22nd, against Norfolk State as well.
