History

Tulsa Memorial high school is a public high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States It is part of the Tulsa Public Schools district. The school serves grades 9-12.

Tulsa Memorial high school opened in September 1962 as a consolidation of three high schools – Central, Webster, and Wright. The school was originally named Tulsa Memorial high school in honor of the many service members who died in World War II and the Korean War. The school’s mascot is the Charger and the school colors are blue and white.

The school has been accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education since 1963 and by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1966. Tulsa Memorial high school offers a wide variety of courses including Advanced Placement and dual credit courses through Tulsa Community College

The Team

The Tulsa Memorial high school basketball team is a group of young men who work hard to succeed both on and off the court. They are strong students in the classroom and talented athletes on the court. The team is coached by Mr. Matthews, who has been coaching for many years. The team’s captain is Darius, who is a junior. The Coach

Coach Dean Wade is one of the most successful coaches in Tulsa Memorial High School’s history. He has led the team to two state championships and four conference titles. Coach Wade is known for his intense focus and dedication to his players and their development both on and off the court. Coach Wade’s players have gone on to play at the collegiate level and in the NBA.

The Fans

The fans are a big part of Tulsa Memorial High School Basketball. They come to every game to support their team, and they are always ready to cheer them on to victory. The fans play an important role in the game, and they are always there to help the team win.

The Rival

Tulsa Memorial High School’s Basketball team has a long-standing rivalry with crosstown rival Booker T. Washington high school The two schools have been playing each other since the early 1950s, and the games are always hotly contested. In recent years Tulsa Memorial has had the upper hand in the rivalry, winning six out of the last seven games. However, Booker T. Washington is looking to turn the tide this year and come out on top.

The Game

The game was close, but ultimately the Tulsa Memorial high school basketball team lost by four points. The team played hard and never gave up, but they were simply outmatched by their opponents. It was a tough loss, but the team can hold their heads high knowing that they played their best.

The Season

The boys’ Varsity Basketball team at Tulsa Memorial High School had a great season. They went undefeated in conference play and won the conference championship They also made it to the State Tournament where they lost in the first round.

The Record

In the 2017-2018 season the Tulsa Memorial high school basketball team had a record of 32-1. They won the state championship and were ranked #1 in the nation by USA Today

The Legacy

Tulsa Memorial High School has a rich basketball tradition. The school has won nine State Championships the most of any school in Oklahoma. Tulsa Memorial has also produced numerous collegiate and professional players, including two-time NBA All-Star Steve Francis.
