The University of San Francisco Men’s basketball team is a Division I Basketball Program that competes in the West Coast Conference.

The University of San Francisco Men’s Basketball team is a Division I college basketball team that competes in the West Coast Conference (WCC), in NCAA’s Division I. The team plays its home games at the War Memorial Gymnasium, on the university’s San Francisco campus. The team is currently coached by Todd Golden
USF was one of the founding members of the WCC, and has been a member of the conference since 1952. The Dons have won three conference championships (1965, 1955, 1977). They have also appeared in three NCAA tournaments (1957, 1958, 1959) and one National Invitation Tournament (1972). As of 2019, the Dons have an all-time record of 1,607–1,398.

University of San Francisco men’s basketball is a college Basketball Team representing the University of San Francisco in NCAA Division I competition. The team is currently coached by Todd Golden, and plays its home games at War Memorial Gymnasium on the school’s San Francisco campus.
The basketball team started in 1910 and has won three NCAA Division I championships (1955, 1956, 1957). The team has also appeared in seven National Invitation Tournaments and six NCAA Tournaments. In addition, the team has appeared in or won four other postseason tournaments the 1942 Mini-Olympics Invitational, the 1947 National Invitational Tournament the 1949 Far West Regional playoffs (NIT), and the 1951 Far West Regional playoffs (NIT).
The USF Dons have produced a number of NBA players including Bill Russell K. C. Jones, Kurt Rambis, Dennis Awtrey, Mike Mitchell, Ralph Lee Sampson Jr.,John Paxson, Gerald Coleman, Quintin Dailey, Charles Smith, Eddie House and Miguel Aínsa.
