After a disappointing end to their season, the University of Portland Pilots men’s basketball team is looking to Bounce Back in a big way. With a new Head Coach at the helm, the 2018-19 campaign will feature a more difficult schedule than in recent years
The Pilots will open the season on the road against an Oregon State team that is coming off a trip to the NCAA tournament They will also face off against non-conference foes such as UCLA, Nebraska, and Illinois. In conference play, the Pilots will have to contend with teams like Gonzaga, Saint Mary’s, and BYU.
While the schedule is certainly challenging, it will give the Pilots an opportunity to prove that they are still one of the top teams in the West Coast Conference With a bit of luck and some hard work the Pilots could find themselves back in the NCAA Tournament come March.
