US Air Force Academy Baseball Releases 2019 Schedule

The United States Air Force Academy baseball team has released their 2019 schedule. Check out when they will be playing near you and come support the team!

Introduction

The United States Air Force Academy announced their schedule for the 2019 season. The team will play a total of 56 games, 27 of which will be at home in Colorado Springs.

The Falcons have home series against Navy, Army, Utah Valley, and conference foes UNLV and New Mexico. They will also compete in the Mountain West Missouri Valley Challenge, hosting Missouri State February 22-24.

On the road, the Falcons will travel to play Oregon, Washington State USC, San Diego State and conference opponents Fresno State and Nevada. The team will also participate in the Houston College Classic February 28-March 3.

The 2019 Season

The team’s non-Conference Schedule is highlighted by games against instate rivals Colorado and Colorado State as well as a trip to Florida to take on Stetson. The Falcons will open the season with a three-game series against Wright State from February 15-17.

Conference play will begin on the road against San Diego State from March 8-10. The team will then have three straight home conference series against UNLV (March 22-24), New Mexico (March 29-31) and Boise State (April 5-7).

The final stretch of the season includes road trips to Utah Valley (May 10-12) and Fresno State (May 17-19), followed by the final home conference series of the year against Air Force’s biggest rival, the United States Naval Academy, from May 24-26. The conference tournament will be held from May 29 – June 2 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The 2019 baseball team will have a total of 50 members, 30 of which are returners from the 2018 team. The other 20 are new recruits who will look to make an impact on the field. The team is made up of 3 seniors, 16 juniors, 18 sophomores, and 13 freshmen.
