Since UTEP baseball’s inception in 1914, the team has undergone many changes. The team has seen success and Failure, Hope And Disappointment. In recent years however, the team has been on the rise.
In 2014, UTEP Baseball finished the season with a record of 30-25. This was the first time the team had finished above .500 since 2000. In 2015, the team improved even further, finishing with a record of 32-23.
This past season was even more successful, as the team finished with a record of 39-19. This was the best finish in program history. Additionally, the team made it to the semifinals of the Conference USA tournament for the first time ever.
The future looks bright for UTEP baseball. With a talented young roster and a dedicated Coaching Staff UTEP baseball is poised to make even more noise in future seasons.

Under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Mike Martínez, the UTEP Miners Baseball Team is looking to make a name for itself in the world of Collegiate Baseball After a years-long drought, the team is finally seeing success on the field, making it to the Conference USA tournament for the first time in program history.
With a lineup featuring some of the best young talent in the country, the future is bright for UTEP baseball.Martínez has instilled a new level of discipline and dedication in his players, and they are certainly reaping the benefits. If they can continue to build on this momentum, there is no telling how far they can go.
