VermontCatamounts.com is the official website of the University Of Vermont men’s basketball team The team is a member of the America East Conference and plays its home games at Patrick Gymnasium on the university campus in Burlington, Vermont.

The Catamounts are led by Head Coach John Becker who is in his sixth season at Vermont. His record at Vermont is 126-86 (.593), and his teams have won 20 or more games in four of his five seasons. Becker has been named America East Coach of the Year three times (2014, 2015, 2016).

The Catamounts have appeared in the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament five times (2003, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2012). They have an overall record of 1-5 in nt play

Tyler Tracy

Tyler Tracy is a guard on the Vermont Catamounts men’s Basketball team He is from Worcester, Massachusetts and attended St. John’s High School He is 6’3″ and weighs 200 pounds.

Anthony Lamb

Anthony Lamb is a American college basketball player for the Vermont Catamounts of the America East Conference (AEC). He played high school basketball at Fulton Community Schools. Standing at 6 feet 6 inches (1.98m), he plays the small forward and Power Forward positions.

Ernie Duncan

Ernie Duncan is a 6’3” guard from Evansville, Indiana. He attended Reitz Memorial High School where he was a three-time Indianapolis Star Super Team member. Duncan played in the U19 World Cup in Egypt with USA Basketball helping lead the team to a bronze medal. He was also a member of the 2017 USA Basketball Men’s Junior national team that won gold at the FIBA U19 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt.

Trae Bell-Haynes

Trae Bell-Haynes (born March 13, 1996) is a Canadian college basketball player for the Vermont Catamounts of the America East Conference (AEC). He played high school basketball at St. Michael’s College School in Toronto, Ontario.

Payton Henson

Payton Henson is a 6’7″ forward from Thetford, Vermont. He played his high school basketball at Thetford Academy, where he was a two-time all-state selection. Henson was also named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Vermont as a senior. He played his AAU Basketball with the New Hampshire Ballers. Henson chose to play his college basketball close to home at the University of Vermont where he has been a key player for the Catamounts over the past four years.

Dre Wills

Dre Wills is a guard for the Vermont Catamounts men’s basketball team He is a transfer from Boston College He is 6’2″ and weighs 185 pounds.

Cam Ward

Cam Ward (born October 5, 1999) is an American college basketball player for the Vermont Catamounts of the America East Conference He previously played for the University of Maine

Ward was a four-star recruit by Rivals.com. He was ranked as the No. 129 player in the nation and committed to play College Basketball for the Maine Black Bears As a freshman, Ward averaged 8.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game Following his freshman season, he transferred to Vermont.

Darren Payen

Darren Payen (born May 5, 1998) is a American College Basketball player for the Vermont Catamounts of the America East Conference. He played high school basketball for Putnam Science Academy

On November 12, 2019, Payen scored a career-high 22 points and had 10 rebounds in an 82–81 win over Stony Brook As a junior, he averaged 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game
