This year’s team was led by senior point guard Malik Muhammad who averaged 19 points per game Muhammad was named first-team All-Conference and was also named the Conference Player of the Year. He is only the second Viking in history to receive that honor.
The Vikings also had two other players who were named All-Conference. Sophomore shooting guard Jamal Johnson was named second-team All-Conference, and freshman power forward Jarius Jones was named third-team All-Conference.
