Pitcher Blake Barnett is one of the leaders on the team, with a record of 9-1. He has an ERA of 2.48 and has struck out 103 batters. He’s been a key player in getting the team to where they are today.

Catcher Jesse Medina has also been playing an important role for Wimberley. He’s batting .327 with 4 home runs and 31 RBIs. His defense behind the plate has been stellar, and he’s helped guide Barnett and the rest of the pitching staff all season long

Infielder Jordan Chovanec is another player who has been instrumental in Wimberley’s success. He’s hitting .360 with 6 home runs 37 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases His speed and defense have made him a valuable asset both on Offense and defense

David Hooten- Wimberley High School Head baseball coach

David has been with Wimberley ISD since 1999. He became the head Baseball Coach in 2006. His teams have won 7 District Championships, 4 Regional Championships and made 2 State Tournament appearances. In 2010, his team was 1 win away from the state championship game. They finished as the State Runners Up that year.

Andy Chandler- Wimberley high school Assistant varsity baseball Coach

Andy is in his 2nd year as an Assistant Coach for Wimberley varsity baseball Andy played high school baseball at Marble Falls where he graduated in 2000. Andy then went on to play college baseball at Schreiner University for two years before transferring to Texas Tech University where he graduated with a degree in Education.
