Zane Trace Baseball: A Tradition of Excellence
Zane Trace baseball is a tradition of excellence. For over 50 years, the Pioneers have been one of the Premier Baseball programs in the state of Ohio. During that time, Zane Trace has won 12 conference championships 10 district championships, and made 7 trips to the State Tournament
The Pioneers have also had 29 players named All-Ohio, 14 conference player of the year recipients, and 2 state players of the year. Zane Trace has produced 4 Major League Baseball draft picks and 2 players have gone on to play in the College World Series

Zane Trace Baseball has a long and storied tradition of excellence. The program has been a mainstay in the community for over 100 years, and has produced many Great players and teams.
The team first started playing in the early 1900s, and quickly became one of the top programs in the state. They won their first state championship in 1907, and would go on to win numerous titles in the years that followed.
In recent years Zane Trace Baseball has continued to be one of the top programs in Ohio. They have won several conference and district titles, and have made multiple appearances in the State Tournament
The future looks bright for Zane Trace Baseball, as they continue to produce great players and teams. The tradition of excellence looks poised to continue for many years to come.
The Zane Trace Baseball Program
The Zane Trace baseball program has a long tradition of excellence. Founded in 1874, the program has produced many great players over the years, including Hall of Famer Joe Morgan and All-Star catcher Johnny Bench The program has also won two National Championships in 1892 and 1893.
Today, the Zane Trace Baseball Program is one of the most successful programs in the country. The team has won four conference championships and made seven appearances in the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament In 2017, the team won a school-record 44 games and finished ranked No. 8 in the nation.

Among the most notable are Bob Feller who played for the Cleveland Indians from 1936-1956; Lou Boudreau,. who played for the Indians from 1938-1950 and managed them to a World Series title in 1948; Jesse Flores,. who pitched for four teams from 1943-1955; Warren Spahn . who pitched for the Boston Braves from 1942-1965; and Earl Wynn,. who pitched for five teams from 1939-1954.
