The 2013 Michigan Wolverines men’s Basketball team represented the University of Michigan in the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament The team played its home games in Ann Arbor, Michigan for the 49th consecutive season at Crisler Center, and were members of the Big Ten Conference They finished the season 279, 126 in Big Ten play to finish in fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament to Ohio State

The Wolverines received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as a #4 seed. They defeated South Dakota State in the second round before losing to Kansas in the third round.

This was John Beilein’s sixth season as Head Coach of Michigan. He was assisted by Bacari Alexander, LaVall Jordan and Jeff Meyer. Derrick Walton Jr., Nik Stauskas and Glenn Robinson III were Key Players for the team, with burst onto the scene with their outstanding freshman seasons. Spike Albrecht and Caris Levert also developed into key contributors during their sophomore campaigns, while Jordan Morgan provided crucial senior leadership in his final year with the program.
