2016-17 Aficionado Basketball Season Recap

It’s been quite a season for Aficionado Basketball. In the 2016-17 season they managed to achieve a lot of success. Here’s a recap of what they accomplished.

2016-17 season overview

It was a tough season for the Aficionados, as they finished with a record of 12-38. They struggled from the start, losing their first 8 games. Things didn’t get much better from there, as they went on to lose 19 of their next 20 games. They did manage to put together a couple of brief winning streaks late in the season, but it was too little too late. All in all, it was a forgettable season for the Aficionados.

Top players of the season

It was another great year for basketball, and there were a lot of amazing players. Here are some of the Top Players of the season:

--Stephen Curry He was the MVP for the second year in a row and led the Golden State Warriors to another NBA title He averaged 25.3 points, 6.6 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game

--Russell Westbrook He had an incredible year, averaging a triple-double (31.6 points, 10.7 assists, and 10.4 rebounds per game) and set a new record for most triple-doubles in a season (42). He led the Oklahoma City Thunder to the playoffs but they were eventually eliminated by the Houston Rockets in the first round.

--James Harden He was second in the league in scoring (29.1 points per game) and also averaged 8 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game He helped lead the Rockets to the playoffs where they eventually lost to the Warriors in the second round.

--Lebron James He averaged 26.4 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds per game and led his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers to yet another NBA Finals appearance. They lost to the Warriors in five games though.

Best moments of the season

It was another great year for basketball, with plenty of unbelievable moments. Here are some of the best moments of the 2016-17 season:

1. The Chicago Bulls started the season on a strong note, winning their first 14 games. They went on to finish the season with a 62-20 record, good for first place in the Eastern Conference

2. Lebron James continued his domination of the NBA, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to another Finals appearance He averaged 26.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game during the regular season and was named MVP for the fourth time in his career.

3. The Golden State Warriors made history by becoming the first team to ever start the season 15-0. They went on to win an incredible 73 games, but ultimately fell short of their goal of winning a second consecutive championship, losing to the Cavaliers in the Finals.

4. Russell Westbrook had a remarkable season, averaging a triple-double (31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 10.4 assists per game) and setting a new NBA record with 42 triple-doubles. He was named MVP at the end of the year, becoming just the second player ever to average a triple-double for an entire season (Oscar Robertson is the other).

5. James Harden also had an incredible season for Houston, leading them to 55 wins and earning himself the MVP Award He averaged 29.1 points per game and became just the fifth player ever to average at least 29 points and dish out 11 assists per game in a single season (Michael Jordan Oscar Robertson Magic Johnson and Lebron James are the others).

Worst moments of the season

The 2016-17 Aficionado Basketball season was full of highs and lows. From the very beginning, when the team lost its first two games, to the exciting end, when they won the championship, it was a roller coaster ride. Here are some of the worst moments of the season.

One low point came early on, when the team lost to their rivals, the San Francisco Fog, in the second game of the season. It was a close game but the Fog pulled ahead in the end and won by four points.

Another low point came in mid-season, when Aficionado suffered a string of losses. They lost three games in a row and seemed to be falling apart. However, they managed to turn things around and finished the season strong.

Finally, one of the worst moments of the season came in the Championship game Aficionado was facing off against the Fog once again. The game was close, and it looked like Aficionado was going to lose. However, they pulled off a miraculous come-from-behind victory and won the game by two points. It was an incredible end to an unforgettable season.

Surprises of the season

The 2016-17 Aficionado basketball season was full of surprises. The biggest surprise of the season was the success of the team from Oklahoma City The team from Oklahoma City led by superstar Kevin Durant won the Aficionado Championship, defeating the heavily favored Los Angeles Lakers in the finals.

Another surprise of the season was the success of the young players on the Aficionado All-Star team The All-Star team, which featured superstars like Lebron James and Steph Curry was dominated by young players like Kyrie Irving and Giannis Antetokounmpo These young players proved that they are some of the best players in the league and that they have a bright future ahead of them.

Finally, the biggest surprise of the season was the retirement of Kobe Bryant Kobe Bryant one of the greatest players in NBA history announced his retirement at the end of the season after 20 years with the Lakers. Kobe’s retirement came as a shock to many fans and it marked the end of an era in NBA history

Steph Curry ( Golden State Warriors) – The reigning MVP put up another stellar season, averaging 25.3 points, 6.6 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game. curry is unquestionably one of the best shooters in NBA history and he proved it again this year by draining an absurd 402 three-pointers. He’s also an excellent playmaker and defender, making him a well-rounded player who is deserving of a spot in the Hall of Fame someday.

Russell Westbrook ( Oklahoma City Thunder) – Westbrook had a historic season, averaging a triple-double with 31.6 points, 10.7 assists, and 10.4 rebounds per game. He became just the second player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season, and he did it while leading his team to the playoffs despite losing Kevin Durant in Free agency last offseason. Westbrook is one of the most explosive players in the league and is sure to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer when his time comes
