With the 2016-17 college Basketball season officially underway, it’s time to take a look at the draft prospects for next year. The following is a list of some of the Top Players who are eligible for the 2017 NBA draft as well as where they currently stand in terms of draft projections.
1. Josh Jackson SF, Kansas: Jackson is widely considered to be the top player in the 2017 Draft Class and is a projected top-five pick. He’s an extremely athletic wing player with a high motor and defensive versatility.
2. Harry Giles, PF, Duke: Giles is one of the more intriguing prospects in the class due to his immense physical talent and potential. However, he’s coming off of ACL surgery and has yet to play a college game, so his stock is somewhat uncertain at this point. Giles is currently projected to be a late first-round pick.
3. Jayson Tatum SF, Duke: Tatum is another highly touted freshman at Duke who projects as a potential top-10 pick in next year’s draft. He’s got good size for a wing player and is known for his scoring ability.
4. De’Aaron Fox, PG, Kentucky: Fox is Kentucky’s starting point guard and one of the most electric players in college basketball He has great speed and quickness and is an excellent passer with solid defensive instincts. Fox projects as a lottery pick in next year’s draft.
5.. Ivan Rabb, PF, California: Rabb was considered a potential lottery pick heading into his sophomore season but has seen his stock drop somewhat due to Cal’s disappointing start to the year. Rabb is still considered to be a first-round prospect though and has good size and rebounding ability for a Power Forward .
Who are the 2016-17 Contenders?
There is a lot of talent in the 2016-17 NBA Draft class, and it’s shaping up to be one of the deepest in recent memory. With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the top contenders for this year’s draft.
Washington’s Markelle Fultz is widely regarded as the top prospect in the class, and rightfully so. He’s an elite scorer with Supreme Court vision and the ability to take over a game on both ends of the floor. Fultz is a likely franchise cornerstone and has all the makings of a future All-Star.
Another player to keep an eye on is Lonzo Ball of UCLA. Ball is an outstanding passer with great size and speed for his position. He needs to work on his outside shot, but he has all the tools to be a very good NBA player Ball could wind up being one of the best playmakers in the league someday.
Kentucky’s Malik Monk is another player with superstar potential. He’s an explosive scorer with deep range on his jump shot Monk needs to work on his defense, but he has all the tools to be a dynamic offensive player at the next level.

* Ben Simmons – A 6’10” forward from Australia, Simmons has been compared to Lebron James and is considered one of the top prospects in the world. He is a strong rebounder and has the ability to play both inside and outside.
* Skal Labissiere – A 6’11” center from Haiti, Labissiere is a skilled offensive player who can shoot from the perimeter and also has Good footwork in the post. He needs to add strength and improve his defense, but he has all the tools to be a star at the next level.
* Jaylen Brown – A 6’7″ wing from California, Brown is an explosive athlete with a high motor. He’s a good shooter with range and can also attack the basket. He needs to work on his ball-handling and decision-making, but he has all the tools to be a very good player at the next level.

The Spurs are always a contender, and they should be once again this season. They have a deep roster that is led by Kawhi Leonard LaMarcus Aldridge, and Tony Parker They also have one of the best coaches in the league in Gregg Popovich The Spurs will be looking to make another deep run in the playoffs this season.

The 2016-17 Contender schedule has been announced, and here are the highlights:
-There will be four games on Halloween night, featuring the Lakers at home against the Warriors, the Spurs at home against the Bulls, and a doubleheader on ESPN with the Celtics at home against the Knicks followed by the Clippers at home against the Trail Blazers

The 2016-17 NBA season is rapidly coming to a close, and that means that it’s time for the playoffs. The playoffs are where the best of the best teams in the league compete for the right to be crowned NBA champions As always, there are a few teams that stand out as contenders for the title, and we’ve got a breakdown of who they are and what their chances are.
The 2017 NBA playoffs will begin on April 15th and will run through June, if necessary. The first round will be a best-of-seven series, with all games being played at the home arena of the higher-seeded team. The second round will also be a best-of-seven series, but will now be played between the winners of each first-round matchup, regardless of seed. The Conference Finals will again be a best-of-seven series, this time between the winners of each second-round matchup, with the games once again being played at the home arena of the higher-seeded team.
